Lessons Learned: Communicating Clearly: Straight Talk from the World's Top Business Leaders

This book was a super easy read of only 100 pages and each "chapter" was about 2-4 pages long, so I LOVED it, because I felt accomplished and more knowledgeable when I finished. It featured a lot of CEOs of random companies.

Plus, I learned some important information about communicating in the business world. Here are some key takeaways:
1. communicate early
2. communicate often and repeatedly
3. over-communicate in times of trouble and during good times
4. What you say and even write can be interpreted in many ways, so be careful!

The founder of The Body Shop was also featured in the book, so I diligently went to the store on Embarcadero today and chatted with the friendly saleslady. I casually mentioned the book's reference to the founder and won 3 free samples! Well, there might not have been any correlation, but it was an added perk!
